09/03/2021 - Softball Factory All-Region Tournament Courtney is a 2023 graduate who plays SS. She has a strong arm and solid glove work. Courtney has a quick first step and great back hand fundamentals. In the box, she makes hard contact. Improving her aggressiveness to the ball on defense and more lower half/posture in her swing will help Courtney take her game to the next level. Overall, she has the ability to continue improving her skills on the diamond.
02/15/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Gambrills, MD Courtney is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the field. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line carry (63 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, she continue to shine, displaying well above average hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (67 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel stays inside the ball with gap to gap pop. With 2 years to further develop, Courtney has a lot of potential and will get looks from the college coaches as she continues to progress her game.
