01/30/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Dallas, TX Danielle is a 2024 graduate who plays 2B. She is athletic and makes routine plays. She has a 3/4 arm slot. In the box, Danielle is centered and has a smooth timing. She hits to both sides of the field. She has good tempo and has pop when hitting to the left side. Overall, Danielle continues to show strides reaching her potential on the diamond.
06/03/2021 - Softball Factory College World Series - Prospects Select Training Danielle is a 2024 2B/RHP that attended the College World Series Select Training Event! At second base, Danielle is quick to the ball and has a good first step. She keeps her hands out in front and fields the ball with soft hands. Areas for her to work on would be developing more arm strength by using her whole body on her throws, having a quicker and faster exchange, and being in a lower defensive position when fielding the ball. Pitching wise she throws a fastball, changeup, and curve ball. If she can work on more leg drive, and a harder snap/finish, she will throw harder and be more consistent. Hitting wise, Danielle has a good setup and solid box presence. She makes consistent contact and has good barrel control. If she can work on driving her legs and hips more she will be stronger at the plate. Also, if she can work on staying direct to the ball and having better extension she will be more powerful. Overall, Danielle is a player that our coaching staff enjoyed working with and would love to work with again in the future!
05/01/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Dallas, TX Danielle is an athletic RHP who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. She has good stride length and throws with an intent. Fastball showed a range of 39-40 mph. Changeup sits 40-41 mph with sink. Curve ball sits 35-37 mph. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. She makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. With 3 years to further develop, with 3 years to further develop, Danielle has potential with time and room to progress her game.
04/14/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Highland Park (DFW), TX Danielle is a 2024 second baseman and right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, she hustles hard after the ball and stays low through each play. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and a good follow through in her throwing motion. She needs to work on her footwork when moving laterally so that she can create more range in her game. On the mound, she has good balance and extends through on her release. She is positive in the circle but needs to work on creating more wrist action so that she can tighten up her spin on the ball with each of her pitches. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She is center in her balance and explosive through the zone with her hands. She makes consistent contact and displays the ability to spray the ball to all sides of the field. Overall, Danielle has a great attitude and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
