06/17/2013 - College PREP - Ashland, OH Danielle continues to develop as an athlete. As a RHP, she has good athleticism, excellent mound presence and good snap on pitches. Focusing on leg drive, body awareness, getting around hips, arm speed, and release point will increase accuracy, velocity, and movement. As a hitter, she has a balanced set up with a short bat path that produces hard contact. Focusing on a stride and load and timing will increase power and efficiency. With implementation of the above recommendations, Danielle will continue to be on track for collegiate attention.
02/16/2013 - Complete Softball Player Experience - Commuter Danielle is a tall, young RHP with an advanced presence in the circle. She uses a short, quick arm swing with backward hand position in an athletic stance with smooth rhythm/tempo throughout her delivery. She worked on her change up with coaches and should continue to work at it to create muscle memory. Danielle pounds the strike zone and with continued hard work has the potential to be a difference maker at the next level. At the plate, Danielle made strong improvements throughout camp. She improved her head position, being looser throughout her swing and keeping her bat through contact to create extension. She has a good feel for the strike zone and adjusted her hand position to give herself a more direct path to the ball, eliminating extra unnecessary movement. Overall, Danielle is a very coachable young lady on a mission to consistently get better; she works hard, plays hard and needs to keep up the good work for continued progression.
