04/11/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Orange (Los Angeles), CA Dee Ma'Ae is a 2024 powerhouse catcher and outfielder. Dee excels behind the plate and in the outfield and especially shined offensively. Behind the plate she presented a strong athletic and agile set up with exceptional tracking with a very quiet compact glove. With a raw arm velo of 65 MPH she showed off her arm with a pop time ranging from 1.82-2.02. She not only shined behind the plate but in the outfield as well with her athleticism presenting great footwork getting behind the ball well. In both positions her arm was very accurate with momentum created through her lower half and strong carry on the ball. Offensively Dee has a very smooth powerful swing with a square athletic setup. She had hard consistent contact resulting in line drive and a 72 MPH exit velocity. Dee is a strong well rounded athlete with all the tools necessary to play ball at a high level. As a 2024 she has plenty of time to continue to improve and become an even more dominant player in the years to come.
