Defensively, she has some feel for the game, shows some natural instincts and is an accurate thrower. Her footwork is playable and she will benefit from improving her set up so her feet are not staggered, keeping her butt low to receive and staying low to throw while consistently following those throws with her feet to improve carry/flight. At the plate, Deja uses a square set up with a slight upward load, short stride and keeps her weight back before launching to contact. She has solid barrel accuracy, can hit the long ball, has a very direct bat path and will benefit from improving her balance and weight transfer to allow her to track the ball better with less head movement. Overall, Deja needs to continue to work hard, seek quality instruction and the best possible reps to ensure she is being properly pushed.
