12/16/2018 - College PREP - Madison (NYC), NJ Delaney is a 2022 right handed catcher with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she stays square in her catching position and receives the ball well in the zone. She has correct footwork and pops out quickly on bunt coverage. She needs to work on making her throws more accurate to her target but she displays strength behind her throws. Offensively, she has tall set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She has power potential and she displays the pop in her contact when she keeps her hands inside the ball well. Overall, Delaney has a great attitude and is very coachable. If she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
