12/18/2020 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Eden continues to show as a prospect on the field. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (62 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She has strength in her swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. At SS, she displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as she displays proper footwork as she works to square ground balls up and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry (63 mph velocity) across the field. Range will increase as he she improves foot quickness. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable and works hard to be the best player she can be.
11/01/2020 - All-In Membership - Salem (Roanoke), VA Eden is an athletic SS/3B who has a promising future on the field. In the IF, defensive abilities are outstanding as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she continue to shine, displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (70 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel and has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. With 2 years to further develop, Eden has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the college coaches as she continues to progress her game.
