As a C, she has a quick, accurate arm slot with excellent arm strength, agile range, good communication as the commander of the field, athletic, and extremely coachable. Focusing on a lower, balanced stance, a stronger wrist, and framing pitches will increase blocking success and overall catching ability. As an OF, she has a quick arm slot with excellent arm strength, agile range, and athletic approach. Focusing on an athletic pre-pitch position, live reads off the bat, glove awareness on fly balls and ground balls, and staying low through the power line when fielding and throwing will increase power, consistency and fielding success. With implementation of recommendations, Elaina will continue to be on track for collegiate attention.
