She hustles to the ball and can move side to side. Elena has an accurate arm when throwing across the diamond. She will benefit from working on her footwork and increasing her range. Offensively, Elena uses a closed stance with a downward and back load, and long stride to make a positive move to the ball. She has a short swing path to contact with quick bat speed. By working on her hip drive, Elena will increase her power numbers. Overall, Elena will continue to develop as a player.
