02/27/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - North Branford, CT Elizabeth is a 2024 2B who attended the Softball Factory Event in North Branford, CT! On defense, she has quick footwork, takes good angles to the ball, and has good double play feeds. Hitting wise, she has a good approach, stays through the ball well, drives the ball up the middle, and has strong lower half drive! Overall, Elizabeth is a coachable athlete and someone our coaching staff always enjoys working with!
03/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Milton, NY Elizabeth is a Softball Factory veteran with a proven passion for the game. This outing Elizabeth showed off her skills at 2B. She has a nice pre pitch approach and moves quickly to the ball. She stays low, presents her glove on time and fields with soft/sure hands. She makes a quick/clean transfer and uses a short arm action. She makes accurate throws with carry. In the box, Elizabeth is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance. She creates fluid rhythm with and a smooth stride and load. She engages her lower half and makes hard, consistent contact. Working to accelerate through contact will allow her to see more power production. Overall, Elizabeth is a coachable player with the tools and work ethic to play at the next level.
01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Elizabeth Coury is a 2024 short stop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she takes a good first step and works through each ball that is hit to her. Her exchange is clean, and her arm action fits the short stop position. Offensively, Elizabeth has a good understanding of selctiong the right pitches to swing at during her at bats. Her swing is on-plane and she is able to “set the table” for her teammates. Overall, Elizabeth is coachable and is not afraid to ask questions.
12/27/2019 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament (Prospects) Elizabeth Coury is a 2024 right-handed shortstop with a developing skill set. At short, Elizabeth can field every routine ball and has clear enjoyment for the game. She reads the ball well off the bat and centers the ball up well in order to move through it. She has a quick exchange and an accurate throw to her target. Offensively, Elizabeth has a square setup and on-time stride to the ball. She has an aggressive mindset at the plate and is determined to get on base every at bat. She uses her core to create power and has the ability to be a table setter in the lineup. By using her lower half more throughout her swing, it will increase her overall power production. Overall, Elizabeth is eager to learn, has a great attitude and a clear passion for the game.
08/18/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Uniondale (Long Island), NY Elizabeth is a 2024 right handed shortstop and pitcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to her glove side. She moves well through the ball and stays low through each play. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and creates solid momentum through each play. In the circle, she has a confident demeanor and extends through well on her release. She stays tall in her finish and has good balance on the mound. She hits her spots well and mixes speeds well. Offensively, she is athletic in the box and short in her stride. She loads back well in her lower half and stays fluid through the zone. She squares up the ball consistently and has the ability to spray the ball to all parts of the field. Elizabeth has great work ethic and will reach her goals.
