Behind the plate, she has active feet and gets around the ball well on her blocks. She frames the ball well and is short in her action. She makes accurate throws to bases and pops out quickly on bunts. At third base, she has quick feet and range to her glove side. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has a quick exchange to her target. She is fluid as she moves through the ball and picks balls in the dirt well. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She is smooth in her rhythm and center in her balance. She keeps a firm front side in her swing and makes hard contact up the middle. Overall, Ellie is very coachable and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
