07/31/2019 - Softball Factory World Series - Prospects Emelia returns to another Softball Factory event displaying her strong skill set and positive attitude that she brings to the field. Defensively, she is relaxed in her fielding position and has quick footwork to the ball. She has a strong first step and takes good angles back on the ball. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and displays strength in her release. Offensively, she is open in her stance and comfortable in her hands. She sees the ball well to her barrel and stays controlled in her rhythm. She makes hard contact to all parts of the field and finds a way on base for her team. Overall, Emelia is engaged at all times and brings great energy to the field.
11/14/2018 - Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 16U Emelia is a 2021 OF with a strong skill set. In the box, Emelia is a LHH that is also able to slap. She uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She loads her hands, stays inside the ball and generates explosive bat speed. She makes hard consistent contact and is able to work the gaps. She reads the defense well and is able to slap to take advantage. She is able to deaden the ball and work the 5/6 hole. Working on her pitch selection will allow her to continue to find success. In the OF, Emelia is an athletic player with good range. She has quick feet and reads the ball well. She presents her glove on time, fields with sure hands and makes a clean transfer. She uses the proper arm slot and makes accurate throws with carry. She is a team player and is willing to dive to make the play. Overall, Emelia is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
