03/01/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Indianapolis, IN Emili is an exceptional young C/SS that has an athletic build and an advanced skillset. Behind the plate, she sits low and stays in her legs to receive with a firm glove. She has short/quick arm action and is accurate to throw to 2B. She exuded confidence while blocking and was quick and quiet down to deaden the ball in front. At SS, she worked with active feet and had plus range right and left. She presented the glove in front, got into a good athletic fielding position, and was quick and clean with her exchange. Her arm action remained short and quick to throw across the diamond and she kept her momentum going through the play to help carry. Offensively, she was aggressive with her approach and tried to stay up the middle of the field. Her rhythm and timing was fluid and smooth and she hit off a firm front side for hard contact. Overall - we are excited to continue tracking Emili's growth in the game as she matures and continues to have fun playing.
