In the infield, she stays low through each play and gains ground in her throws to the target. She is short in her action to the ball but needs to work on being smoother in her release so that she can make accurate throws more consistently. In the outfield, she gets in a square fielding position and has soft hands when receiving the ball. She gets behind the ball well and creates good momentum through each play. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and keeps her hips and hands working well together through her swing motion. She has good balance in the box and hits the ball hard up the middle. Overall, Emily is very coachable and works hard.
