She stays low and attacks every ball. She moves well laterally. In the box, Emily is a good contact hitter and is a solid bunter. Working on her lower half and timing as well as a quicker exchange will help Emily take her game to the next level. Overall, Emily is a good RBI hitter and has the skill set and tools to continue improving her game on the diamond.
11/14/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Pittsburgh, PA Emily is a talented 2024 1B/OF who attended the Softball Factory Event in Pittsburgh, PA! At 1B, she has a quick first step, stays behind the ball well, and has a quick release. If she can work on fielding the ball out in front more she will be even stronger. In the OF, she attacks ground balls well and has quick footwork. Some things for her to work on is making sure that she is using her lower half on her throws more, and working on a quicker release. Hitting wise, she has a good load, quick hands, and stays inside the ball well. If she can work on keeping her hands higher and driving her lower half more, she will be stronger at the plate. Overall, Emily is a very talented athlete with a lot of potential!
