Defensively, Emily has an athletic low set up with quick and effective footwork to the ball. She does a great job creating angles with high energy and effort. she makes clean exchanges with accurate on-line throws. At the plate, Emily as a line drive up the middle approach. She does a great job staying inside the ball while also maintaining a smooth rhythmic swing. Barrel accuracy is high with great contact resulting in an exit velocity of 58 MPH. As Emily continues to get stronger she will gain arm strength that will result in more carry defensively and more pop off the bat offensively. Emily has a great attitude and hustles two very important intangibles that make for a great player and teammate.
