01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Emma continues to show as a prospect on the field. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as she displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as she displays proper footwork as she works to square ground balls up and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry (61 mph velocity) to her target. Range is a plus as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate she continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick (71 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable, works hard to be the best player she can be, and is a team player.
11/18/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 18U Emma is a coachable SS/OF prospect who showed well during the Softball Factory Fall Classic. In the field, Emma moves light on her feet with a quick first step. She gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of her body. Her exchange is quick and she gains ground well on her throws, keeping them accurate with carry through her target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a centered stride. She is smooth to load and is explosive driving her lower half through. She gets good extension through the ball with fast bat speed, driving the ball to all fields. Overall, Emma is a talented prospect who has the skill set to perform at the next level.
02/17/2020 - College PREP - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Emma is a tall OF/SS prospect who will graduate in 2021. In the field, Emma shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to the ball. She gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. She makes a clean exchange and gains ground well on her throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to her target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. She is smooth getting back into her load and generates fast bat speed through the zone, leading to loud line drives. Overall, Emma is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.
