05/30/2013 - College World Series Select Training Erika continues to set the bar athletically. She demonstrates passion, work ethic, coachability, and sportsmanship both on the field and amongst her peers. As a RHP, her leg drive, pitchability, movement, and location keep her as a valid competitor on the mound. Continuing to focus on finishing each pitch and finessing snaps will increase velocity, efficiency, and movement. As a 2B, she has an accurate arm with a quick transfer, soft, sure hands, fluid footwork that assists angles to groundballs, agile range on forehands and backhands, good double play feeds and pivots when fielding. Continuing to focus on fundamental skill set will increase efficiency. As a hitter, she has an athletic set up with a fluid rhythm and level bat path that produces consistent contact. Continuing to focus on utilizing the lower half and quick bat speed will increase power to all hitting fields. Implementing a strength and conditioning program will increase agility, athleticism, and endurance. With continued application of recommendations, Erika will seek out collegiate attention.
