01/12/2018 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Faith is a 2020 right handed pitcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has calm and confident mound presence with good body control. She has an open hip direction and good arm positioning in her wind up. She keeps a free arm action and is controlled in her finish. Her best pitch is her screw ball. She has good wrist action and correct spin. If she drives more through her lower half she will start to pick up more speed and power on her pitches. At third base, she has quick and active feet. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and positions her body well behind the ball to create solid momentum through each play. She has accurate throws to her target and keeps the ball on line. Offensively, she has a square and athletic set up in the box. She has a short stride to the ball and stays center in her balance. She is direct in her swing path to the ball and has the ability to spray the ball in the gaps. Overall, Faith shows leadership qualities and great work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
