08/17/2014 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Faith is a junior right-handed pitcher / first baseman with a well-balanced skill set. On the mound, Faith uses a tall, athletic stance; backwards hand position, and full arm swing to deliver the ball. She has smooth rhythm and level shoulders with a complete finish. Faith uses a mixture of pitches to attack each batter. Her best pitch is her curve ball that has power action. By working to improve her change up accuracy, Faith will become a true threat on the mound. Defensively, Faith has a confident presence. She receives the ball with soft and sure hands out in front of her body. Faith has fluid footwork and agile range when moving from side to side. She makes accurate throws and communicates well with her teammates. Offensively, Faith uses a square setup with a short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She is an aggressive hitter that maintains centered balance while driving through contact. Faith has quick bat speed and hits the ball hard. She has gap-to-gap power and will only benefit from driving her hips and using her legs throughout her swing. Overall, Faith is a versatile player that will only continue to grow and develop on the field.
