12/27/2018 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament (Grad Years 2019-2023) Gabby is a first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has smooth footwork and range to her backhand side. She needs to work on sitting lower in her legs when moving through each play. She creates good momentum in her release and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, she has an open set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She is centered in her balance and keeps her hands on plane through the zone. She displays power to her pull side and makes hard contact consistently. Overall, Gabby has great body language and with continued hard work, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
07/06/2018 - College PREP - Conroe (Houston), TX Gabby is a 2020 1B with a balanced skill set. In the box, Gabby is a RHH that uses a square stance with a back load and square stride. She creates fluid rhythm, has an aggressive approach and makes square contact. She generates line drive power to the pull side. Working to stay inside the ball and extending through contact will allow her to see an increase in her power production. At 1B, Gabby is a solid player. She presents her glove on time, fields with soft hands, and makes a clean exchange. She moves well to her glove side and back hand. She does a nice job of getting in line with her target and makes accurate throws with carry. Overall, Gabby is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
