07/19/2021 - All-In Membership - Rosemont (Chicago), IL Gabriela is an athletic 2023 OF. Defensively, she does a great job of taking a quick first step to the ball and gains ground well. She works behind the ball well, and has good momentum on her throws. She gets over the top of the ball well and makes accurate throws. Something for her to work on is using her lower half and legs on her throws. Also making sure she is opening up her hips to throw will help with her arm strength. Hitting wise, she has good rhythm at the plate and a solid load. She has a good bat path and is a spray type of hitter and hits to all fields. Some things for her to work on is a quicker and shorter swing to the ball. Also making sure that she stays direct to the ball and keeps her hands inside. Lastly, making sure she doesn't get out on her front foot and is able to stay more balanced in the box. Overall, Gabriela is an athletic player and someone our coaching staff would love to work with in the future!
