Defensively, she makes consistent throws with carry on her ball, fields confidently, and has playable footwork. Working on an athletic pre pitch position and stronger wrists will help to improve efficiency. Overall, Gabrielle has a good understanding of the position and confident approach to playing defense. As a hitter, she allows the ball to travel deep into the zone before producing contact to the opposite field. She shows potential for power and will benefit from implementing a stride and load and explosive lower half to generate more power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire hitting field more effectively. Overall, Gabrielle has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
