11/03/2013 - College PREP - Seattle, WA Genna is an evolving SS and OF with a balanced skill set. Defensively, she plays two positions and understands them well. As a SS, she has an athletic build, works hard and moves well laterally. Working on an athletic arm slot will help her to improve accuracy. As an OF, she has a strong arm with sure fielding skills and moves through the ball well. Working on running athletically to various balls will help her to improve efficiency. Overall, Genna is athletic and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses a square set up with an aggressive approach to produce contact. She shows flashes of pop and will benefit from bat extension to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Genna has a good frame for the position at 5'3 and has solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
