05/05/2019 - College PREP - Dripping Springs (Austin), TX Gianna returns to another Softball Factory event displaying her skill set and improvements. She has great work ethic and hustles hard both in the outfield and on the base path. Defensively, she is quick in her footwork and gets around the ball well to come through with solid momentum. She is athletic in her fielding position and has a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She is short in her action and keeps her throws on line to her target. Her throws are low to her target and consistently accurate. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and stays center in her balance at the plate. She works her hips and hands well together through her swing and makes hard contact in the gaps. Overall, Gianna has a great attitude and hustles hard.
07/11/2018 - 2018 Atlanta Legacy Showcase 14U Gianna returns to Softball Factory for the Atlanta Legacy Tournament. During game play, Gianna proved to be team player. She battled each at bat and was able to come up clutch in pressure situations. Working to keep her weight back will allow her to see more consistency in her power production. In the OF, Gianna is a strong player with quick feet. She reads the ball well and takes the correct angles. She is there to back up teammates when the ball is hit in the gaps. She makes a clean transfer and makes accurate throws with carry. Overall, Gianna is a coachable player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
