As a 3B, she has a quick transfer, accurate arm with life on her throw, polished glovework, fluid footwork, agile range, and good field presence. Focusing on staying down and through the ball will increase fielding success. As a hitter, she has a square, balanced set up with a short bat path, an aggressive swing that produces hard contact to all hitting fields, good rhythm, and line drives. Focusing on a stride and load and driving the hands through the zone on low pitches will increase power and consistency. With implementation of recommendations, Gianna will be on track for collegiate attention.
