04/15/2018 - College PREP - Harrisburg, PA Gianna is a 2023 right handed shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and good range to both sides. She has soft hands when receiving the ball and a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She stays light on her feet and gets her body positioned well behind the ball to come through with good momentum for her throw. Offensively, Gianna has a square set up in the box and loads back well in her legs. She stays center in her balance and keeps her hips and hands working well together through her swing. Overall, she has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard she will make a great asset to a collegiate level team in her future.
