11/21/2021 - All-In Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Giovanna is a talented 2023 OF/2B who attended the Softball Factory Event in Daytona Beach, FL. In the outfield, she makes accurate throws/gets rid of the ball well, charges the ball, and gets behind the ball well. At 2B, she has a quick exchange/release, keeps her hands out in front well when fielding, and has quick footwork. Something for her to work on is being smoother on her backhands. Hitting wise, she has a good base and setup in the box, is balanced at the plate, has solid barrel accuracy, and makes consistent contact. If she can work on driving her lower half more and a better weight transfer, she will be even stronger at the plate. Overall, Giovanna is a very talented athlete and someone our coaches would love to work with again!
