04/22/2018 - College PREP - Columbia, SC Grace is a 2018 catcher with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she has active feet and keeps the ball in front on blocks well. She has soft hands when receiving the ball and frames the ball well for her pitchers. She is fluid in her action and has an accurate arm on her throws to bases. Offensively, Grace has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance but by focusing on keeping her hands inside of the ball more consistently and not getting too out and around she will start to drive the ball to all sides of the field more. Her hips and hands work well together and she has fast hands through the zone. Overall, Grace has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
