She creates fluid rhythm with a smooth load and generates fast bat speed. She makes hard, consistent contact and shows gap power. At 2B, Grace is an athletic player. She presents her glove on time, fields with sure hands and makes a clean transfer. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Working to stay low will allow her to play through the ball more. Behind the plate, Grace has a good presence. She presents a good target and does a nice job of getting her thumb under the ball. She sticks the ball well and is able to help her pitcher get close calls. She makes a clean transfer and is able to throw from her knees and feet with accuracy. Working to get her glove down sooner will allow her to plug the hole and keep balls in front. Overall, Grace has an exciting skill set that will play well at the next level.
