Behind the dish, she presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. She uses her body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed a range of 1.75-1.94 with accuracy on her throws. She throws from knees. Times will continue to drop as she builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the ball quicker. At the plate, she continues to shine with outstanding hitting abilities with well above average power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (75 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She has strength in her swing and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. With 3 years to further develop, Hailee has the makings of a special type player as she continues to progress her game.
