Defensively, she has a quick, accurate arm and fields in an athletic position and with confident glovework. Working on staying down and through the ball and a smooth transfer will help improve her overall fielding efficiency. Overall, Hailey understands the position and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses a square set up with a back load and short stride and keeps her balance centered before launching to the ball with a short swing producing hard contact consistently. She shows good power and will benefit from continuing to finesse her hitting mechanics will help to improve overall effectiveness as a hitter. Overall, Hailey has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
