01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Hailey Mandala is a 2025 right-handed catcher with a strong skill set. Behind the plate, she has an athletic and low stance and good balance on her throws. She presents her glove behind each pitch well and has the ability to work back to the heart of the plate. Her exchange is quick and clean and she makes in game adjustments quickly. Offensively, she has a square setup and soft stride to the ball. She has an on-time load and a good eye for the strike zone. She makes hard contact and works to the middle of the field. Overall, Hailey has a great attitude and is a team player. Overall, Hailey is an athlete with a great work ethic and attitude.

02/16/2019 - Mid Atlantic Regional Softball Hitting Weekend It was great to have Hailey back at the hitting clinic. She is a great kid and has such a positive attitude. As a right-handed hitter she set up with an open and athletic stance. Her hands were set high and comfortable. She used a simple load and a short soft stride to start her swing. Hailey's hips and hands worked together and her lower have stayed through contact with a firm front side. Her swing path was smooth and overall she made hard contact with a strong barrel. Hailey hits line drives in the gaps consistently and has good power. She is a hard worker and will continue to improve her skill set.

12/28/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Hailey is a 2025 two-way player as a C/SS. In the box, Hailey is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She loads her hands and creates fluid rhythm. She works to put the ball in play and makes contact to the pull side. Working to stay short to the ball and extending through contact will allow her to see consistent line drive power. Behind the plate, Hailey is a young and raw player. She looks the ball in, receives with firm hands and works to frame the zone. She reads the ball in the dirt well and shows good movement to block. She works to get in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Working to gain ground to her target will allow her to see more carry on the ball. At SS, Hailey handles the routine play. She presents her glove on time and fields with sure hands. She does a nice job of getting in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Adding a pre-pitch approach will allow her to be on time to the ball and play through to her target. Overall, Hailey is a hard working player and with continued coaching she will take her game to the next level.
