06/20/2014 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Haley is a freshman first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Haley has an athletic setup at times. She receives the ball with soft and sure hands out in front of her body. Haley has playable footwork and agile range when moving from side to side. She has a constantly accurate arm with carry strength across the diamond. Haley will benefit from keeping her center of gravity low to the ground when fielding and making her throws. Offensively, Haley uses a slightly closed stance with a downward load to make a positive move to the ball. She maintains centered balance while driving through contact. Haley does a good job of keeping her hands inside the ball and will benefit from keeping them at the top of the strike zone as well. Overall, Haley is a young developing athlete that will continue to grow as a player.
