01/25/2014 - College PREP - Jackson, MS Hanna is a young, freshman outfielder with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Hanna has soft and sure hands with an accurate arm. She has quick and fluid footwork with agile range when moving to the ball. Hanna fields the ball correctly, off one foot in a do or die situation. By snapping off her throw and using her core, Hanna will gain velocity when throwing from the outfield. Offensively, Hanna uses a slightly closed stance and a short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She has a short swing path and maintains centered balance throughout her swing. Hanna does a good job of keeping it simple and staying through the ball. By incorporating a load into her swing, Hanna will become a more powerful hitter. Overall, Hanna is and athletic player that will continue to grow and develop.
