12/18/2020 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Hannah continues to show as a prospect on the field. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (66 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She has strength in her swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. At SS, she displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as she displays proper footwork as she works to square ground balls up and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate to her target but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. Range will increase as he she improves foot quickness.
12/27/2019 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament (Prospects) Hannah Maurer is a 2023 short stop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she is on-time and presents her hands out in front of her body. Hannah makes accurate throws across the diamond. Offensively, her stride to the ball is square and she gives 100% effort every at bat. Overall, Hannah hustles, asks questions, and is a team player.
