08/24/2013 - College PREP - Bear, DE Hannah is a young, talented infielder with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, she plays two infield positions, C and SS, and understands the demands of each position naturally. As a C, she has an accurate arm with quick transfers, swift pops on blocks and bunts, and commands the field vocally. Working on staying composed on fundamentals will help her be more effective on throwdowns. As a SS, she has active footwork and covers ground with her assertive backhand. Accessing a smooth arm slot will help her efficiently finish plays. Overall, Hannah is an aggressive athlete and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she has quick hands and keeps her balance centered as she launches to contact point with a short swing. She shows potential for power and will benefit from a stride and load and letting the ball travel into the hitting zone, ultimately, allowing her to effectively use all hitting fields. Overall, Hannah has a good frame at 5' and has solid athletic ability to aid in her continued development as a player.
