05/30/2019 - Softball Factory College World Series - Prospects Select Training Isabella continues to impress with her ability to stay engaged every single play and work hard every time she steps on the field. She is athletic in her motion to the ball and has effective footwork. She fields the ball out front and creates solid momentum through each play. She needs to work on staying low in her legs through the entire play so that she can be quicker in her release of her throw. Offensively, Isabella has a tall set up in the box and a controlled stride to the ball. She keeps her barrel level through the zone but needs to drive through her lower half more so that she can create more power behind her contact. Overall, Isabella has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard and adjust she will reach her goals.
12/27/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Rindge, NH Isabella Pomarico is a 2023 short stop with a developing skill set. On the infield, she is a vocal player. Her footwork is effective to the ground ball and she has good range to her glove side. With her clean exchange and short arm action her throws are on-line and consistently accurate. At the plate, Isabella hits to all fields. She lets the ball travel and keeps her mechanics smooth. With more load at the start and weight transfer to contact she will increase her power.
