At 1B, she displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. Feet are aggressive and attacks balls, playing through with her body. Throws are accurate with accuracy and carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. With 3 years to further develop, Jaelyn has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
