10/11/2020 - All-In Membership - Frisco (DFW), TX Jai-Lynn is a very talented 2-way player (1B/RHP) who can make things happen. As a hitter, this righty shows an athletic stance with centered balance and fluid rhythm to load. Swing is quick to and through the zone as she engages her lower 1/2 and connects with pop, driving the ball from gap-to-gap (exit velocity = 72 mph). At 1B, she has active prep and is aggressive to come and get the ball. She works into an athletic/square fielding position, tracks GB's into a soft mitt and gathers well. She has good lateral actions and can make the tough plays to her glove-side and backhand. On the mound, Flores has an effective 4-pitch arsenal in which to challenge hitters with. She maintains fluid tempo, stays directional and repeats her delivery well. FB ranges from 56-58 mph with some good action. Curveball has tight spin as she can spot it up. Changeup compliments her FB well and will be a solid swing and miss pitch. Screwball has tight spin and good action which will run in on RHH's hands. Flores has a solid skill-set with a ton of upside. She is definitely one to keep an eye on over the next few years.
