At 1B, Jaime does a great job of reading the ball hit off the ball and playing through well. She has a good first step and great range. Jaime has a strong arm, but if she can work on a better follow through this will help her accuracy. Also, by being in a lower defensive position when she is fielding the ball, she will be even more successful at 1B. In the OF, Jaime has good footwork and moves to the ball well. Something for her to work on is being in a better athletic position to field the ball, and working on using her whole body on her throws. Hitting wise, Jaime has a good setup in the box and a good load. She makes solid consistent contact, and hits to all fields. If she can work on using her lower half and quicker bat speed, she will hit the ball harder. Jaime is a great athlete with a lot of potential!
