01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Jalyn Sharkey is a 2024 right-handed shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has controlled movements and efficient footwork. She creates good angles around the ball, has a quick exchange and accurate throws to her target. She has an aggressive first step, great fundamentals, and can throw from multiple angles. Offensively, she has an athletic and square setup. She loads well in her lower half and sees the ball well out of the pitchers hand. She has natural power and her barrel is explosive through the zone. Overall, Jalyn is an athlete who is coachable and has a true love for the game.
