07/26/2020 - All-In Membership - Bowie, MD Janel is an athletic R/R SS who showed well on the diamond. Defensively, she has active prep moving lightly on the balls of her feet. She creates good angles working right to left into an athletic fielding position behind the GB. Hands are presented out in front, she funnels smoothly to a clean transfer to throw. At the plate, this righty displays a tall setup with centered balance. She whips the barrel with + bat speed, connecting and driving the ball to the gaps (exit velocity = 71 mph). Day is a talented SS prospect who has a bright future ahead of her in the game.
