11/14/2018 - Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 18U Jasmine Majors is a strong and athletic third baseman with a great attitude. She is constantly hustling and vocal on the field and loves to run the defense and keep everyone engaged. At third base, she starts in an athletic fielding position and uses quick active feet and soft hands to field the ground ball. She has good agile range side to side. As she goes to throw the ball her exchange is quick and her arm action is fluid. By using longer arm extension through the throw she will increase her speed on the ball. She has a quick release and good accuracy. As a hitter, Jasmine starts in a square athletic stance and has a short soft stride. She uses smooth rhythm and good weight transfer on her load and swing. Her hips and hands work well together as she swings and she generates fast bat speed. Her swing path is direct to the ball and she gets hard consistent contact. Overall, Jasmine adjusts well and has a great work ethic. She is a very coachable athlete with a well-balanced skill set and loves the game.
