03/09/2014 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD Jayde is a sophomore second baseman with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Jayde receives the ball with soft and sure hands. She has solid strength and makes accurate throws to the bags. Jayde has fluid footwork combined with agile range. She moves well and does a good job of getting to the balls to her glove side. By working on her pre-pitch setup, Jayde will have a better overall presence on the field. Offensively, Jayde uses a square setup and a long stride to make a positive move to the ball. She maintains good balance through contact. Jayde has power to the left side, and will benefit from letting the outside pitch get deep and driving the ball through the right side of the field. Overall, Jayde is a young talent that will continue to develop.
