05/27/2018 - College PREP - Salem, OR Jaylene is a 2021 2B with a balanced skill set. In the box, Jaylene is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She loads her hands back and creates fluid rhythm. She generates explosive bat speed and makes hard contact. Jaylene is a gap-to-gap hitter with consistent production. She does a nice job of letting the ball travel and is able to work opposite field. At 2B, Jaylene is an aggressive player with good range. She reads the ball well and plays through allowing her to gain momentum to her target. Working on her backhand her approach will allow her to make a fluid transfer. Overall, Jaylene is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the next level.
