12/27/2014 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament Jenna is an evolving C with well balanced skill set. Defensively, she understands both positions well. As a C, she has an accurate arm with good footwork. Working on a more effective transfers will help to improve release time. Overall, Jenna has a confident approach behind the plate and makes adjustments well. At the plate, she uses a square set up with a good load as she directly throws the bat through the zone to produce consistent contact. She shows good power and will benefit from utilizing the lower half and staying closed to generate more power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field more effectively. Overall, Jenna has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
