11/07/2013 - Softball Factory Select Training at Vero Beach Jennifer is an evolving SS and RHP. As a SS, she fields with two hands and makes adjustments easily. Working on staying down and through the ball will help her to improve efficiency. As a RHP, she has a quick arm swing and natural athleticism that helps with her pitching arsenal. Working on driving out and opening up will help her to improve velocity and movement. Overall, Jennifer is eager to learn and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses a square set up with mid hands, a short, square stride and keeps her balance stable before making contact to the pull side with a level swing. She shows potential and will benefit from an explosive lower half and timing to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Jennifer has a coachable attitude and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
