07/09/2013 - College PREP - Albany, NY Jessica is an athletic RHP with a developing skill set. In the circle, Jessica uses a quick arm swing in a tall stance with good rhythm at times. She keeps her shoulders square with good in line direction and will see better results with all of her pitches as she commits to getting through to a complete finish. She competes with a steady tempo, can change speeds and is willing to pitch to contact to keep her teammates involved and on their toes. She will benefit from continuing to work on her secondary pitches, keeping her arm fast and working to keep her delivery the same on all pitches. At the plate, Jessica has a simple set up with some rhythm and an explosive lower half. She has quick hands, a good point of contact and can hit the ball to all fields because of her good plate coverage. She should continue to work on keeping her top hand through contact to improve extension and overall quality of contact to all fields, ultimately improving her power production. Overall, Jessica is a talented young lady with some time to develop and is able to quickly apply coaching and make adjustments. She should continue to seek quality coaching and reps to ensure she is being properly pushed.
