11/07/2013 - Softball Factory Select Training at Vero Beach Jessica is an evolving 3B with a balanced skill set. Defensively, she has a natural enthusiasm with raw talent as she fields using sure hands and active footwork. Working on a controlled approach to various balls will help her to improve efficiency. Overall, Jessica is aggressive and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses a square set up with mid hands before making contact. She shows potential and will benefit from implementing a stride and load as well as and explosive lower half to improve rhythm and power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Jessica is a great baserunner with a coachable attitude and has solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
